ETHA ADVOCACY

ETHA’s mission is to make natural medicine credible through trustworthy horticulture, manufacturing, lab testing, and research. But legitimizing medicinal plants like kratom takes more than science alone. That’s why ETHA actively advocates for kratom—sharing our stories through a weekly podcast and engaging with legislators at every level, from local governments to Washington, D.C. Through these efforts, we help ensure that kratom and other natural medicines gain broader acceptance and support.

ETHA TAKES AN ACTIVE ROLE

ETHA Co-Founders Alexander and Victor present to SD County Supervisors

PERSONAL ADVOCACY

Alexander and Victor not only lead ETHA Natural Botanicals, they both got their lives back thanks to kratom. That is why they personally advocate for natural medicines. They have shared their stories with local legislators to stop bans like in Newport Beach and San Diego. Alexander has gone to Washington DC to support federal kratom legislation. They have traveled internationally to places like the Czech Republic and Thailand to educate on kratom and to stop potential bans. Advocacy is another way ETHA and our team go above and beyond.

USA Legality

Kratom is federally legal in the United States. At the state and city levels, there are few bans on kratom.

KCPA

In the USA, there is significant effort at the state level to pass the Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA). The KCPA keeps kratom legal as long as it follows common sense regulations. Several states have already passed their versions of the KCPA and the list continues to grow. The KCPA is also proposed at the federal level.
