MISSOURI: FINAL VOTE MONDAY, AUGUST 3 St. Joseph City Council The St. Joseph City Council is preparing for the final vote on Bill 185-26. This ordinance would not only prohibit the distribution of natural kratom leaf—it would also make its possession unlawful. Responsible adults could become offenders overnight simply for possessing a botanical product they purchased legally. The ordinance has not yet been formally introduced, which means advocates still have an opportunity to reach city leaders before a vote is scheduled. Florida has already acted against concentrated 7-OH products: ✅ The state emergency-scheduled concentrated 7-OH. ✅ Inspectors have removed thousands of 7-OH packages from store shelves. ✅ Florida restricts kratom sales to adults age 21 and older. ✅ Federal action is also targeting concentrated 7-OH—not natural kratom leaf.
