Maeng Da™ Kratom - Mood & Energy

Hi guys, a little background: I’m an experienced kratom user and have tried many vendors, from awful to “wow.” Etha isn’t my first rodeo. However, this was my first time ever purchasing a kilo from any vendor, so I had high expectations.

Shipping was respectful and free—yay!

I ordered the Maeng Da blend, though I’m not sure of the ratio. I reached out to customer service several days ago and haven’t heard back. That does bother me because with so many great vendors out there, the main differentiator is customer service. But I do feel a little salty about it.

The kratom itself is strong and fast-acting. Unfortunately, I have to carefully watch my dose, because unlike Wild Craft or Super Speciosa, this batch gives me the wobbles and slight nausea.
I’ve tried many strains from WC and SS without this issue. The only other vendor that caused a similar effect was DTE, which was a letdown...I ended up tossing it.

Still, I ordered a kilo! Haha. Guess will last me for some time.

But honestly, Etha’s prices are ridiculous. I figured buying bulk was a better value than paying an insane amount for a small bag. Seriously, Etha charges a lot.

That said, I’m confident the kratom is safe.

What I don’t like is that Etha doesn’t disclose their COAs upfront like Super Speciosa does. They also don’t share the ratio of the blend I bought, which is frustrating.

Overall, the kratom is just okay for me. After 14 days of use, I have a good sense of how this blend works with my body, and I wouldn’t purchase it again.

I REALLY wanted to like Etha but this kratom just numbs me. I appreciate a batch that is more uplifting and social.

I’m on the fence about rotating with Etha in the future, but honestly, there are more affordable vendors out there who don’t compromise on quality. I think I’ll stick to my current vendor.

If this is your first experience with kratom, just be mindful—the effects hit fast. Personally, I don’t get any energy from this blend; it makes me feel more “stoned” and a bit confused, which isn’t what I’m looking for. Oh well, win some, lose some. I considered returning it, but $105 isn’t worth the hassle. I just don’t think I’ll be purchasing from Etha again.

Great product! Great mood booster! I always keep them around for busy days. Or car trips. Love how easy the tables are. A must try if you haven’t.
